Syrian Grand Mufti Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun has called for countries, including the US, European nations, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, to end their support for terrorists, urging all states to cease their interference in Syria’s internal affairs.
Hassoun’s remarks came during a meeting with Spanish Communist leader Francisco Frutos and member of the Catalonia Socialist Party Edward Guerrero.
For their part, Gras and Guerrero voiced their conviction that Syria is faced with a fierce terrorist offensive, noting that they took part in events held in Spain in solidarity with Syria.
The two delegates added that they will convey the reality of events in Syria to the Spanish people in order to uncover the lies propagated by Western media and restore normal relations between the people of both countries.
