Foreign Companies Attend Syrpetro Exhibition

Foreign companies participating in the Syria International Petroleum and Mineral Resources exhibition “SyrPetro,” are looking forward to playing a key role in the development of the petroleum industry and rebuilding and rehabilitating petroleum facilities that were damaged.

On Tuesday, a representative of Iran’s PGPACC Oil Group, Mohammad al-Jaafari, told SANA that the group aims to develop cooperation with Syrian bodies in with the field of rehabilitating and rebuilding the factories and refineries in the country. 

Jaafari added that the upcoming stage will witness significant economic and investment activity in this domain. 

For his part, the General Manager of the Russian Oral Techno Stroy company branch in Syria, Luae Murad, stressed that the company is working on developing the treatment plant at the Tel Adas project in Hassakeh province and contributing to the rebuilding and rehabilitation of the oil projects damaged by the terrorist war.

In turn, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Russian R.M. Antichno Company, Roman Raisky, said that the company aimed at providing sophisticated technologies to Syrian companies, so that they might overcome the repercussions and sabotage that affected oil facilities and fields. 

SyrPetro opened on Saturday evening at the Fairgrounds on the Damascus International Airport Highway with more than 50 local, Arab and foreign companies participating.
