ISIS Threatens Doctors in Abu Kamal

Activists in the city of Abu Kamal in Deir-ez-Zor said that aircrafts of the international alliance have targeted groups of ISIS fighters in the city in the industrial area. The activists reported that the bombing resulted in casualties among the ranks of the organization.

Sources told All4Syria that the alliance carried out four air strikes on areas within Abu Kamal city yesterday and suggested that one of the raids probably targeted an ISIS military convoy. In the same context, the alliance had targeted border areas between Syria and Iraq.

The activist from Abu Kamal, Abu Naim al-Ani, told All4Syria that the raids were on Friday morning and that seven ISIS soldiers were killed in those raids, while ambulances coming from the Iraqi border area, carrying the wounded ISIS soldiers, entered the city after the air raids.

ISIS – which controls the town of Abu Kamal – has warned the medical staff which left the city to return within a maximum of 10 days, otherwise all of their properties would be confiscated.

It is noteworthy that a number of doctors left the city of Abu Kamal after ISIS took control over it, fearing the wrath of the organization, as many of them were members of revolutionary groups in the city.
