Dozens of civilians were killed and wounded when regime helicopters dropped explosive barrels on the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo on Thursday.
A helicopter dropped an explosive barrel on the neighborhood of Qadi Askar, which led to the death of 20 civilians, and the injury of others, as the barrel fell in a crowded area near fuel stations. Two cars and a number of houses were destroyed in the explosion.
In the meantime, regime helicopters dropped explosive barrels on the neighborhoods of Bab al-Hadid, Marja and the old Muasalat neighborhood, leading to the death of civilians and destruction of residential buildings, a number of them historic.
