Upon directives of President Bashar al-Assad, Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, a financial one-time grant has been disbursed to the military personnel.

On 11/07/2021, President al-Assad issued legislative decree No. 19 which provides for increasing the salaries and wages of civilian and military employees by 50 percent.
