Three people were martyred and others wounded when terrorists detonated a car loaded with large amounts of explosives in the town of Kanaker in Damascus Countryside on Wednesday.
An armed group detonated the car near the al-Omari mosque, killing three, including a father and his son. Ten others were also injured, among them women and children, a police source said.
The car bomb also causes large-scale material damage in the area, the source added.
The al-Faihaa stadium in Damascus was also damaged when terrorists fired a mortar shell at the stadium. An official police source told SANA that the shell fell on the basketball court inside the stadium, causing huge material damage to equipment, but without causing any casualties.
