Renewed attacks by armed groups on different Syrian regions on Wednesday killed one woman and injured 22 others.

In the southern province of Daraa, a woman was killed and 13 civilians were injured by rocket attacks on residential neighborhoods in the provincial capital and the city of Izraa, constituting a new violation of the de-escalation zones agreement in the south.

In Damascus, nine civilians were injured when armed groups fired mortar bombs on several neighborhoods in violation of the de-escalation zone agreement in the Eastern Ghouta.

A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that armed groups positioned in the area fired a number of mortar shells on the neighborhood of Bab al-Salam in Old Damascus, injuring a number of civilians and causing damage to homes and property.

The source added that a number of civilians were injured when the armed groups also targeted the district of Al-Ghassani with mortar fire.

The armed groups also fired two mortar rounds on the Al-Zahrawi hospital in the neighborhood of Qassaa, only causing damage to its surroundings.

Another two mortar bombs were fired on the neighborhoods of Saba Bahrat and Abu Rummaneh in the capital.

Meanwhile, a source in Damascus countryside said armed groups fired two rockets on the Jaramana area, injuring two civilians and causing damage to homes and property.
