The source added that a number of civilians were injured when the armed groups also targeted the district of Al-Ghassani with mortar fire.

The armed groups also fired two mortar rounds on the Al-Zahrawi hospital in the neighborhood of Qassaa, only causing damage to its surroundings.

Another two mortar bombs were fired on the neighborhoods of Saba Bahrat and Abu Rummaneh in the capital.

Meanwhile, a source in Damascus countryside said armed groups fired two rockets on the Jaramana area, injuring two civilians and causing damage to homes and property.
