The State Minister for National Reconciliation Affairs Ali Haidar on Monday met the Director of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in Syria, Michael Kingsley-Nyinah.
In a statement to journalists following the meeting, Haidar said that preparations are underway for the return of the people of Husseiniyeh town in Damascus Countryside to their homes, with infrastructure in the town being repaired in order to restore normal life.
He said the ministry is working to deal with all issues within its jurisdiction according to available resources.
Regarding the situation in Yarmouk, Haidar held the terrorist organizations in the camp responsible for sabotaging reconciliation efforts there and for the recurring attacks that disrupt the distribution of humanitarian aid to locals.
