Damascus University Celebrates Graduation of 450 Medical Students

Damascus University on Sunday celebrated the graduation of 450 students from the Faculty of Medicine at al-Shabab City in Mezzeh neighborhood, Damascus.

Minister of Higher Education Dr. Amer Mardini said that in light of the current circumstances, the graduation of hundreds of doctors, whether from Damascus University or other Syrian universities, is considered a “great victory for Syria and a message to the whole world that Syria embraces strong cadres.”

Mardini called upon the graduates to practice their career with excellence and to serve their homeland.

Rector of Damascus University Mohammad Hassan al-Kurdi said many students from different specialties graduate from Damascus University every year, and this embodies the role of the university in defining the real needs of the local and Arab labor markets.
