A car bomb in the Old City of Damascus on Saturday left seven people wounded, Syria's al-Ikhbariya television channel reported.
Some of those injured in the attack in Souq al-Bzourieh in the center of the Old City were children, the station said, adding that two of those wounded were in critical condition.
Shops and cars were also severely damaged in the blast. Souk al-Bzourieh is an historic market specializing in sweets and spices.
