Thousands of Families Flee to Safety from Terrorist-Held Eastern Aleppo

Thousands of besieged families managed to escape the terrorist-held eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city on Tuesday.

A SANA correspondent quoted an official source as saying that the Syrian army received the civilians and transported them to safety, while the Aleppo authorities are working on securing temporary shelter for the families.

On Monday, army units secured the exit of thousands of locals, mostly women and children, from the eastern neighborhoods and transported them to temporary housing centers. The army continues to carry out operations to clear the eastern neighborhoods of terrorists while preserving civilian lives.

So far, the Syrian army has restored security and stability to the districts of the Scientific Research Housings, Haidariye, Al-Sakhour, Inzarat, Sheikh Khedr, Jabal Badro, and Al-Halk in Aleppo city.
