The Syrian government on Sunday condemned recent terrorist bombings in Iraq which claimed the lives of scores of innocent people.
The government offered condolensces to the victims' families and wished the wounded a quick recovery.
Earlier on the day a series of terrorist attacks using car bombs targeted markets and parking places in several areas in Iraq, killing 51 people.
More than 580 people have been killed in Iraq by terrorist attacks since October, according to Iraqi medical and security sources.
