Electricity Minister Imad Khames said on Monday the government is continuing to support the electricity sector, despite current challenges.
"The government has agreed to fund a number of projects through reserve currency, after domestic banks abstained from providing finance due to unfair economic sanctions imposed on the Syrian people," Khames told reporters.
