A humanitarian aid convoy supervised by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent arrived to the families of Moadamiya city in the Damascus countryside on Thursday.
The aid was provided by a number of organizations including the World Food Program, the United Nations Children’s Fund, the UNHCR and the World Health Organization.
For his part, the head of Moadamiya city council, Bassam Karbouj said that the convoy consisted of 23 trucks that included hundreds of food packages, medical aid and children’s supplies that will be distributed to the families inside the city.
He added that the Syrian government is keen to deliver humanitarian aid to all areas without exception.
