Syria and Iran discussed on Thursday mechanisms of cooperation and ways to achieve partnerships in the fields of public works, housing, and the establishment of joint investment projects.
That came during a meeting between the Minister of Public Works and Housing in Syria, Eng Suhail Abdullatif, and Rostam Qasemi, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development in Iran
Minister Abdullatif highlighted the need to activate the agreements and executive programs signed between the two sides.

He indicated that the presence of similarities in the experience of housing projects in the two countries contributes to creating fruitful cooperation and exchanging experiences in construction technology.
For his part, Minister Qasemi affirmed full readiness to cooperate and transfer expertise to the Syrian side, especially from private sector companies and major Iranian construction companies, to contribute to the reconstruction in Syria.
He also shed light on the success of his country’s experience in the field of social housing.
