The Syrian Trust for Development, in collaboration with the Agha Khan Network for Development, held on Tuesday an introductory activity on three developmental initiatives launched at the temporary residential centers in Damascus.
The initiatives include the "Back to School" initiative which is aimed at providing children with the basic needs and resolving their problems to go back to their schools, in addition to offering private tuition for students to catch up with their peers.
The second initiative is the "Hidden Story" initiative which focuses on linking the children with books through reading stories in an interactive way.
The third initiative is "Merging Children at Temporary Residential Centers with Host Communities" initiative which is aimed at merging children at the residential centers with the children in the host communities and offering psychological support through activities that combine them together.
The Syrian Trust for Development is carrying out a group of developmental initiatives, and it supervises over 22 temporary residential centers in cooperation with local organizations.
