Louay Mokdad: ISIS Follows Suspicious Agenda

The political and media coordinator at the Free Syrian Army, Louay Mokdad has accused the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) of "following a suspicious agenda based on control and not on fighting the regime."

He pointed to "coordinated action by this organization and other groups that are committed to the jihadist ideology to target opposition fighters."

"These groups came to Syria on the basis of fighting the regime and to help the Syrian people get rid of the tyrant, but we see they have now turned to suppressing and intimidating the people, to the extent that they have replaced the regime that used to suppress the Syrians with a new religious regime that is suppressing their opponents," he said.
