Government Doing Its Best to Deliver Aid: Mikdad

Foreign Minister says rebels targeting humanitarian relief

Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Faisal Mikdad confirmed that the Syrian government is doing its best to deliver humanitarian aid to all citizen that needs it during the current crisis.

 

At a press conference on Monday, Mikdad said that terrorist groups are targetting essential services and govenrment aid convoys, adding that the parties supporting terrorism are trying to reach their goals by targeting the humanitarian conditions of Syrian citizens.

 

He said that Western countries are besieging the Syrian people, and that some Arab countries including Saudi Arabia are taking part in this siege.

 

He said the Turkish government is playing a destructive role in Syria by allowing terrorists from 83 countries to enter Syria and commit crimes inside the country.

 

Mikdad said that the United States, France, Turkey and Saudi Arabia provided weapons to terrorist groups to kill the Syrian people instead of sending aid to them.
