The Secretary General of the Syrian National Coalition, Badr Jamous, has denied an Moscow gave an invitation to the President of the Syrian National Coalition to visit Russia.
Jamous said the Coalition has not received any invitation to dialogue from the Russian side.
Jamous described Russian attempts to include people like former Deputy Prime Minister Qadri Jamil and other regime sympathisers in the Geneva negotiations as "arbitrary”.
The Coalition, he said, “will determine the Syrian people's representatives in Geneva, as it is the sole legitimate representative of the Syrian revolution".
In a speech, Sergei Lavrov said Russia "invited the Coalition and we are awaiting their visit".
