Government detainee Hala al-Balkhi, from the Horan region, was released Monsy, after 55 days of detention by Syrian security forces.
Balkhi is the mother of three children. She was arrested at her home with her husband on the same day. Her husband was released after 15 days while she stayed in prison.
News emerged that Balkhi was charged with activities supporting the revolution. She was first detained at the Khatib security branch, before being moved to Adra Central Prison.
