Rebels in Hama have regained a tank battalion located in Morek city in the northern countryside of Hama after regime forces took control of it at dawn.
A Masar Press reporter said the clashes between the two parties resulted in the death of 25 soldiers of al-Assad's troops and the injury of many others, in addition to the destruction of two military vehicles.
"Five rebels have been killed in the attack," the reporter said.
There were clashes in the same region, but this time in the south of Morek, leading to the martyrdom of one of the rebel leaders.
Rebels have targeted Assad's troops at al-Masasneh farms with heavy artilleries and mortars.
Meanwhile, regime air forces shelled Morek, Kafar Zeta and al-Latamneh, which resulted in many casualties among civilians.
