Activist stabbed at entrance to his home in Turkey by unknown attacker

Syrian activist Asaad Hanna narrowly escaped death when an unidentified man stabbed him in front of his residence in Turkey, according to statement posted on his Facebook page on Tuesday.

Hanna was stabbed four times in the body after he opened the door to the unknown man. The assailant made no attempt to steal or loot the residence, indicating that the attack was planned.

The activist has received countless death threats in the past months.

Hanna has not revealed who placed the threats.
