Refugees Wounded in Lebanese Air Strike on Arsal

At least three children injured, including one girl in critical condition, after air raids targeted a Syrian refugee camp near the Lebanese border town

A number of Syrian refugees, including three children, were wounded in a Lebanese air strike on a camp in the border town of Arsal, medical sources told Zaman al-Wasl on Wednesday.

Sources claim a young girl is in a critical condition.

The Lebanese army and Hezbollah forces have intensified their attacks on the major refuge area for displaced Syrians fleeing the Qalamoun region and Homs countryside.

The Lebanese government justified the shelling by saying refugee camps have turned into a shelter for jihadists, in reference to Nusra Front and the Islamic State fighters.
