At least eight people die in regime shelling of opposition-held city in southern Damascus

Regime warplanes raided the city of Daraya with barrel bombs on Saturday, November 21, leading to the death of at least eight civilians, including a seven-month-old baby girl.

Enab Baladi local correspondent said the baby, Zeina, died when shrapnel from the explosion penetrated her skull. Her mother and aunt were also killed in the attack, while her uncle and her grandfather were critically injured.

Enab Baladi posted footage on its Facebook page showing the injury of another infant during the shelling of Daraya.

The local council in the city recorded 14 barrel bombs targeting the city's neighborhoods, specifically in the western districts, as part of the daily bombing carried out by the Assad regime's air forces on the rebel-held city.
