Spokesman for the opposition’s High Negotiations Committee (HNC) Salem al-Meslet said that Russia is directly involved in the massacres the Assad regime is perpetrating in Aleppo.
In an interview with Al-Jazeera on Sunday, Meslet said that instead of pressuring the Assad regime to end its atrocious actions in Aleppo, the Russians are aiding and abetting such crimes.
The "bloody messages" the Assad regime is sending from Aleppo are yet further proof it does not desire a political solution in Syria, he added.
