Palestinian Teenager Tortured to Death in Syria: Monitor

Syrian security forces tortured a Palestinian boy to death for participating in demonstrations against the Assad regime three years ago, the Action Group for Palestinians in Syria said.

The London-based group said Mohamed Diab was detained at the age of 13, following protests in Hama city.

The boy’s family is from the Palestinian village of Shajara originally, and he lived in Ayedun camp for Palestinians in Hama city.

The number of Palestinians tortured to death in Syrian security chambers has reached 444 victims, according to the group.
