U.S.-Led Coalition Aircraft Kills 20 Civilians in Raqqa

Warplanes of the U.S.-led coalition committed a new massacre against innocent Syrian people on Saturday, claiming the lives of 20 civilians after carrying out airstrikes against alleged Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists in the southern countryside of Raqqa province.

Local sources told SANA that warplanes shelled a car carrying civilians in the area between the towns of Ratleh and Al-Kasrah, 8 kilometers south of Raqqa city.

The sources added that the airstrikes killed 20 civilians and injured seven others, two of them critically.

Since it was illegally formed outside the jurisdiction of the U.N. Security Council in 2014, under the pretext of fighting ISIS, the alliance has been committing massacres against innocent civilians, killing hundreds of people and injuring others in the countryside of Raqqa, Deir-ez-Zor and Aleppo.
