Israeli and Western media on Tuesday shed light on Iranian-run missile facilities in Syria, almost two months after Zaman al-Wasl first uncovered Tehran’s rocket factory in the coastal province of Tartous.
The research center for the development of long-range missiles was built by Iran in Wadi Jahannam, known as the Valley of Hell, which separates the provinces of Hama and Tartous.
Military experts from Iran, Russia and North Korea are working on developing the long-range FATIH 110 ballistic missiles and will be finished by the end of the year, according to informed sources.
In June, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad made a secret visit to the research center after delivering Eid al-Fitr prayers in Hama city.
