The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Monday it would treat U.S. jets flying west of the Euphrates as potential targets, adding that it will also suspend its communication channel with Washington.
In a statement, the ministry said that it had suspended communications with the American side which is used to prevent accidents between the two countries operating in Syrian airspace.
