Syria's Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi has said that Syria is open to all initiatives that aim at solving the crisis politically in a way that guarantees its sovereignty, stability and integral unity, without foreign interference in its domestic affairs.
In a meeting with an indian delegation or journalists and lawyerson Thursday, Premier al-Halqi stressed the deeply-rooted and historic Syrian-Indian relations, pointing out that they have developed remarkably in different domains including politics, economy, technology and administration throughout the past ten years through the mutual visits of the two countries' officials.
He urged the media convey the true image regarding the aggression launched against Syria that aims at controlling the region and fragmenting it in service of Israel.
The Prime Minister presented a review of the steps taken by the government to solve the crisis through implementing the political program launched by President Bashar al-Assad, stressing that Syria is open to all initiatives that aim at solving the crisis politically in a way that guarantees its sovereignty, stability and integral unity, without foreign interference in its domestic affairs.
Dr. Halqi underlined that the Syrian economy is strong, as Syria enjoys food security, pointing out that the government continues to secure all citizens' needs, along with working on rehabilitating and restoring what has been sabotaged by the terrorists.
He referred to the massacres and criminal acts committed by the armed terrorist groups against the Syrian people, in addition to sabotaging the Syrian economy's infrastructure through targeting the oil and gas pipelines and fields, power plants , hospitals and schools.
In turn, the Indian delegation members expressed solidarity with Syria in the face of the conspiracy hatched against it, adding that the visit helped them inspect the reality of events to convey it without falsification.

The Syrian regime is showing through meeting delegations from other countries that it is not isolated and is supported by some parties. Earlier this week, a Jordania delegation visited Syria and expressed solidarity with President Bashar al-Assad and his government against thhe Syrian rebels.
