Israeli Rockets Target Military Site Near Damascus Airport

Israeli missiles struck a Syrian military site southwest of Damascus International Airport at dawn on Thursday causing massive explosions and damage, a military source confirmed.

The source added that the Israeli aggression was as a desperate attempt to raise the collapsed morale of terrorist groups due to recent defeats by the Syrian army, adding that the move will not deter the army from fighting and crushing terrorism.

Speaking to Russia Today TV channel, Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan condemned the attack, adding that Tehran considers Israel a rogue occupying entity and supports the right of Palestinians to resist.

Last Friday, Israeli warplanes targeted military positions in the surroundings of Khan Arnabeh in the Quneitra countryside.
