Hezbollah correspondent Mohammad Mahmud Nazar was killed Sunday while covering military operations in the southern countryside of Aleppo province.
Field sources in Aleppo countryside told SANA that Nazar was killed while covering the advances of the Syrian army and Lebanese Hezbollah forces in the northern province.
Born in 1987 in Arabsalim in Lebanon, Nazar played an effective role in covering Hezbollah military operations during the 2006 Israel-Lebanon war. Nazar was one of the first to cover battles of the Syrian army and the Hezbollah against the armed opposition inside Syria.
