Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi confirmed on Tuesday that the government’s main goal is to boost the national economy and develop resources through relationships with friendly countries.
“The government is keen to activate cooperation with the BRICS countries and others, especially Iran, through broadening bilateral relations covering different economic and trade fields as well as increase commercial deals,” Halqi said, heading a weekly cabinet session.
He confirmed the government’s commitment to meeting the demands of national industry for production and to achieve a drop in prices of between 10% and 35%.
