Syria strongly condemned the recent US and Israeli statements on the occupied Syrian Golan. The country reaffirmed that its right in the Golan is legitimate and supported by international resolutions, saying that the Golan will inevitably return to the motherland.
A statement of the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said that the US policy towards the issues of the Arab Nation always follows Israeli interests, serving its policy of aggression, expansion, and hegemony.
The document added that the Syrian Arab Republic reaffirmed that all US and Israeli stances regarding Syria’s right to the Golan are null and have no legal impact. It added that “the day when the Syrian Arab flag is hoisted on the whole Golan will inevitably come.”
