The so-called 'Friends of Syria' group of 11 Foreign Ministers met in Amman Wednesday to continue their adventurous meddling in Syria's domestic affairs.
The group was a last minute assemblage to save what remains of their extremist, infidel and terrorist affiliates.
The attendees issued a raft of diplomatic statements, after their strategies in Syria so far proved to be failures.
Syria's fight against terrorists continues relentlessly; no power whatsoever can save the terrorists from defeat at the hands of the Syrian army, whether in Qusayr, Aleppo, Daraa, Qineitra, or any other part of Syria.
The statements delivered could not hide the disappointment of Syria's enemies. Nor could the pale faces of these sheep hide their unjustified grudges and hatred toward Syria. In another futile, almost comic farce, they recalled their previous lies and crocodile tears, their arrogance and hypocrisy.
To be certain, the majority of Syrian people could not care less about what happens in Amman. On the ground, Syrians are committed to our great civilization, national identity and leadership. It is we, the majority of Syrians, who will have the final say and responsibility for decision- making in our country; this is the tie that connects our people to our leadership.
The Syrian majority have the right to elect their only hope for a better, more resistant and resolute future, President Bashar Assad, the president of all presidents.
Amman was indeed a farce, as Syria's veteran Ambassador to Jordan, Bahjat Suleiman stated, it was a meeting of the enemies of Syria and the friends of Israel.
"Those who want to end the tragedy in Syria — caused mainly by the states at this conference, particularly Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the UK and the U.S. — need to stop arming and training terrorist gangs in Syria," Suleiman said.
In fact, the Amman conference, following a series of upsets and failures at previous conferences, including those held in Tunisia, Istanbul, Paris, Marrakech, Tokyo, and Rome, have done nothing but contribute to more bloodletting and more misery for Syrians.
The sharp decrease in the number of participating countries in the latest conference, and the catastrophic impact of the fanciful dreams of those who have sold themselves to the Devil, prove that they are redundant and lack any popular support inside Syria.
Tens of the countries have left the group, saying they recognize the consequences of their participation in a group that supports terrorism in Syria.
The heroic Syrian army's pursuit of terrorists on the ground continues unabated and will continue to purge the sacred Syrian soil from this evil.
