The second Inside Syria Forum conference concluded its two-day program on Thursday in Gaziantep in Turkey.
The forum held many workshops, training sessions and discussion for plans and projects in different areas.
A well-informed source reported to Zaman al-Wasl that the budget for the conference was $200,000, which was covered by the U.S.
According to the source, about 150 people attended, most of them activists from outside Syria, while many activists from inside the country were not invited based on the "funder's discretion", as some names were invited, while others, especially those who support the jihadis and radical Islamists, were ignored.
“The funder covered all costs, besides paying a $400 stipend for each participant and free accommodation in a 5 star hotel,” the source added.
The forum witnessed some tension and disagreements especially between Arab and Kurdish activists which reflected the disagreement within the Coalition about some Kurdish parties.
