Over 16 tons of medical aid was delivered from France to Syria on Sunday, to help combat the dire humanitarian circumstances in the country.
The shipment was delivered with the help of the Coalition’s Assistance Coordination Unit and will be distributed in the northern parts of Syria.
The Coalition extends its gratitude to France, while also emphasizing the continued shortage of medical supplies needed to meet the high demand in Syria, as Bashar Assad continues to restrict the delivery of relief and medical supplies to the area.
The international community must also uphold its responsibilities to ensure humanitarian access, and protect civilians against Assad’s brutality.
The Coalition vows to continue the struggle against the Assad regime until the aspirations of the Syrian people for freedom, dignity and democracy are met.
We ask for Mercy for our martyrs, health for our wounded and freedom for our detainees.
Long live Syria and its people, free and with honor.
