At least 996 civilians were killed in November by the Syrian government, Kurdish-led forces, the Islamic State (ISIS), Russia and the U.S.-led international coalition, according to a Syrian human rights watchdog.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights said November's death toll recorded a 20 percent increase in civilian deaths by the Syrian regime-Russian alliance in comparison to October.
According to the war monitor, at least 503 civilians were killed by Syrian regime forces, including 74 children, 51 women and nine who died of torture.
Russian forces killed 279 civilians, including 95 children and 44 women.
Kurdish-led forces were responsible for killing 15 civilians, including a child and two women. While 114 more civilians were killed by ISIS militants, including 16 children and 10 women.
Most of the victims were from the eastern province of Deir-ez-Zor, according to the SNHR.
