On Sunday, a curfew imposed by local gunmen in the city of Daraa, southern Syria, entered into force until further notice.
Local sources told North Press that the curfew is imposed on the neighbourhoods of Daraa al-Balad, Dam Route and refugees camps with the aim of pursuing strangers accused of belonging to the Islamic State Organization (ISIS).
On October 29th, the gunmen announced, through mosques’ loudspeakers, a curfew in the streets and neighbourhoods Daraa with the aim of capturing ISIS militants.

All shops and markets in Daraa al-Balad have been closed, schools have been suspended, and public transport has been stopped, according to the sources.
Local militants are getting ready to launch a military campaign to pursue individuals accused of belonging to ISIS, the source added.
This came after the death of several people and the injury of others after a suicide bomber blew himself up Friday night at the house of a former leader of the Syrian opposition in Daraa.
Since its establishment in 2013, ISIS has sought to find a foothold in south Syria, notably in Daraa Governorate which shares borders with Jordan and Palestine.
On October 14th, five individuals were killed in clashes between local gunmen and militants of ISIS in the town of Jasim in the northern countryside of Daraa, and a curfew was announced.
