Syria and UN organizations signed the strategic framework document for the years 2022 and 2024.
The document was signed by the head of the Planning and International Cooperation Authority, Fadi Salti al- Khalil, on the Syrian side and the United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator for Syria, Imran Reda, in the presence of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Bashar al-Jaafari, and several representatives of the concerned authorities and the United Nations organizations operating in Syria.

Khalil stressed the need for coherence between the objectives of the national development program for post-war Syria, which constitutes the Syria 2030 National Development Strategy, and the objectives of the sustainable development plan set by the UN.
He pointed to the importance of continuing the relief work and providing humanitarian assistance and development work to achieve sustainable recovery.
