Khamenei Demands Departure of American Occupation Forces From Syria, Iraq

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ali Khamenei, called for the departure of the American occupation forces from Syria and Iraq, indicating that the Iranian presence in them is advisory and came at the request of the two countries.

In today’s speech, Khamenei said that Iran’s presence in Syria and Iraq is advisory, not military, and came at the request of the two countries, stressing that the Americans should “leave Syria and Iraq quickly.”

He pointed out that the United States was the one who created the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist organization, and it has acknowledged that. It also opposes other countries’ possession of nuclear programs, while it possesses the largest arsenal of nuclear weapons in the world and has previously used it.
