A member of the Syrian National Coalition has said the proposed Geneva II conference is no longer possible after the alleged chemical weapons attack in Damascus.
Members of the Coalition met representatives of the Friends of Syria , a group of Western and Arab countries opposed to Assad's rule, in Istanbul on Monday to discuss plans for the conference.
But Secretary General of the Coalition, Badr Jamous, told Reuters: "The meeting was about Geneva, but we refused to talk about Geneva after what happened."
"We must punish this dictator, Bashar the Chemist we call him, and then we can discuss Geneva," he said.
