The Syrian Human Rights Network says it has documented the death of 68 Syrians under torture in the month of January alone.
Sixty-four Syrians died in Assad's prisons, Kurdish forces killed one person under torture, and ISIS killed three Syrians in its prisons. The Network noted that cases of death under torture have continued to plague Syria since 2011, highlighting clear evidence of the systematic violence and excessive force against detainees.
The Network confirmed that statistically, Daraa has recorded the highest share as the number of martyrs killed under torture reached 17 people.
