Aleppo Governor Hussein Diab met on Wednesday with Hanaa Singer, UNICEF’s representative in Syria, to discuss the state of relief and humanitarian work in the northern province, as well as means to boost cooperation to provide assistance for affected families.
During the meeting, Singer pointed out that her visit to Aleppo aims at following up on the various aspects of the work carried out by the UN agency in the province. She said that UNICEF plans on finishing construction of 100 wells, and distributing 100,000 school bags, in addition to providing 100 prefabricated classrooms.
The plan also includes health projects, as well as the maintenance of 49 schools and distributing winter clothes for children.
