Syrian government forces on Sunday destroyed a number of Nusra Front fortifications on the outskirts of Al-Rehjan, 70 km northeast of the city of Hama.
SANA’s reporter said that the army and allied forces, supported by Syrian air forces, carried out operations on Nusra Front positions in the surroundings and outskirts of Al-Rehjan, killing militants and destroying vehicles.
The town of Al-Rahjan is located in the Salamiyah area and is considered one of the most dangerous Nusra strongholds in the eastern countryside of Hama. The organization used the town as a launchpad for attacks on the neighboring villages and communities.
