The Damascus Center for Research and Studies released a new report on the U.S. intervention in Syria and Washington’s relentless attempt to legalize its military presence.
The report, titled “Operations of the International Coalition in Syria: Crimes Above the Law," pointed to the importance of confronting attempts to legitimize the American military presence in Syria, not only by Syrians but also by all countries which could become targets of American intervention. The study pointed out that the best way to confront the issue is by shedding light on the violations committed by the U.S. coalition on Syrian soil.
The coalition has committed dozens of massacres against civilians in Syria by targeting residential neighborhoods in the provinces of Raqqa and Deir-ez-Zor.
Since the beginning of its operations three years ago, the coalition has ignored targeting the centers of the Islamic State (ISIS) group, with its aircrafts contributing more than once to the evacuation of the organization’s members.
