Statements by Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir of a “plan B” for solving the Syrian crisis is a mere illusion, Syria's Forgein Ministry said Monday.
In comments to SANA, an official Foreign Ministry source said that recent statements by Saudi leaders are an expression of the destructive role of the kingdom that threatens the Arab and Islamic nations, in addition to threatening security and stability in the whole world.
The source went on to stress that Jubeir’s statements constitute a violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2268 and an attempt to derail the current cease-fire, adding that Saudi leaders should be tried by the International Criminal Court for their roles in the Yemen and Syria.
