Prime Minister Imad Khamis has stressed the importance of improving media professionalism during a tour of Al-Wahda Foundation for Press, Printing and Publishing and the Public Authority for Radio and Television earlier this week.
During the tour, Khamis listened to the challenges and difficulties which workers are facing in addition to the proposals and ideas to raise the performance level of media institutions.
Speaking during the visit, the prime minister pointed to the important role played by media in forming public opinion and identifying policies and trends, hailing the role of the national media and the sacrifices made by the media figures during the terrorist war against Syria.
