Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi said Thursday that current conditions require that all governmental institutions to mobilize their national resources and scale up their emergency preparation "to confront any eventuality and foil the enemies."
Halqi said enemy states are betting on creating disorder and confusion in Syria's state institutions.
Halqi added that the coming challenges necessitate that "we offer logistical support to our brave army and remain steadfast," vowing that any attempt to sabotage Syria will be thwarted.
"There is a stockpile of goods and bakeries continue to work around the clock to meet the citizens' needs," Halqi said.
He confirmed that Syrians are well aware of the nature of the war and that "threats will make them even more determined and ready for confrontation."
