Syrian and Iraqi businesses have signed contracts totaling USD 100 million during the Syria Mod Baghdad exhibition held in Baghdad.
The Syria Mod Baghdad exhibition for ready-made garments showcased 110 Syrian companies and 162 Syrian industrialists amid a remarkable Iraqi trade and popular turnout.
“Four more exhibitions for food, agriculture, engineering and veterinary medicine are set to be organized in Baghdad during March, April, May and June,” Mazen Hamour, Secretary of the Exporters Federation said in a statement Tuesday.
Hamour added that the federation is looking forward to exporting Syria’s products to different world markets in cooperation with industrialists and tradesmen.
